I just love the color of these birds! Eastern Bluebirds perch erect on wires, posts, and low branches in open country, scanning the ground for prey. They feed by dropping to the ground onto insects or, in fall and winter, by perching on fruiting trees to gulp down berries. My bluebirds have been needle felted with wool roving and great care has been taken to get all of their markings, size and colors accurate! Needle felting is a time consuming process in which a single barbed needle is repeatedly poked into wool until the desired shape is formed. The adults stand on sturdy wire feet and is life size at 7 inches in length and have two glass black eyes. The nestlings have no legs/feet.

The bluebird family includes Mr. and Mrs. and three babies as shown. You can also purchase Mr. and Mrs. together or separate or the Mrs. with the babies.

Your birds are custom made once you place your order and payment is received. I usually ship your order within 2-4 weeks of payment, but it depends on how many orders I have. Please also allow more time especially during busy holiday times or for multiple orders! During the Christmas rush, I get overloaded with orders by early November, so please order early ! Feel free to contact me if you want a better shipping time estimate.
