The Golden Cheeked Warbler nests only in the juniper- oak woodlands of central Texas and is considered rare and endangered. This is the only bird species whose population nests entirely in the State of Texas.

My Golden Cheeked Warbler has been needle felted with wool roving and great care has been taken to get all of his markings, his size and colors accurate! Needle felting is a time consuming process in which a single barbed needle is repeatedly poked into wool until the desired shape is formed. He stands on sturdy wire feet and is life size at 4.5 inches in length and has two glass black eyes.

Mr. Vireo is custom made once you place your order. I usually ship within 2-3 weeks of payment, but it depends on how many orders I have.
